They are native to United States, The Contiguous United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, North America, Canada, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Tricolored Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
