In Panama this species was collected in the eastern Pacific from South of Rey Island (USNM E 825; Centroid Latitude: 8.0833, Centroid Longitude: -78.8500), Perlas Archipelago, by the R. V. Albatross, from a depth of 60 m. Lessios (2005) reports collecting this species from North of Pedro Gonzalez Island (8 26.20 N, 79 16.46 W, depth 13 m) and from southeast of the Island (8 22.70 N, 79 04.09 W, depth 29 m), in the Gulf of Panama.
