Acanthaster planci (Crown Of Thorns Starfish) is a species of echinoderms in the family crown of thorns starfish. They are native to The Nearctic, Indian Ocean, Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands), Pacific Ocean, The Neotropics, Asia, and Ethiopia. They are solitary, diurnal carnivores. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is oviparous. They are slow moving animals.
