Dryopteris (Wood Ferns) is a genus of herb in the family wood ferns. They are native to Greenland, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Hawaii, and Canada. Individuals can grow to 25 m. They have alternation of generations.
