Ayapana amygdalina is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Mato Grosso, The Neotropics, SãO Paulo, Amazônia, Amapá, GoiáS, Cerrado, Distrito Federal, Ceará, Caatinga, Roraima, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Acre (Brazil), Espirito Santo, Tocantins, RondôNia, Pernambuco, Maranhao, Pará, Piauí, ParaíBa, Alagoas, Rio Grande Do Norte, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Sergipe, and Rio De Janeiro. They have achenes.
