Desmodium procumbens (Western Trailing Ticktrefoil) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They are native to Puerto Rico, Mato Grosso Do Sul, U.S. Virgin Islands, Tocantins, GoiáS, ParaíBa, Alagoas, Piauí, Pará, Mato Grosso, Cerrado, Maranhao, Paraná, Caatinga, Mata Atlântica, Pernambuco, Ceará, Rio Grande Do Norte, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, Sergipe, Bahia, The Contiguous United States, and Espirito Santo.
