Unique female with 15 eggs in marsupium. Gut with appendage fragments, bristles, and bristle-like claws indicating that the species is a scavenger or predator on small invertebrates. The collecting site suggests that the species, which is an active swimmer, dwells in deep-water close to the substrate; collected within Riftia pachyptila aggregations.
