Range Description

Microcebus simmonsi is known only from the regions of Betampona, Zahamena and Tampolo in northeastern Madagascar, the type locality is at 965 m asl (Louis et al. 2006, 2008). The extent of occurrence (EOO) is estimated to be restricted to less than 2,850 km2.
