Range Description

This is a widespread species, occurring in China, Mongolia, Russia, and the Korean Peninsula (Smith and Xie 2008). In China, it occurs in the provinces of Nei Mongol, Ningxia, Sichuan, Henan, Anhui, Shandong, Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang (Smith and Xie 2008), Beijing (CSIS 2008), and Hebei. This species occurs as a vagrant on Hokkaido, Aomori Prefecture and Tsushima Island in Japan (Abe et al. 2005 as Pipistrellus savii).
