Wing length, 6.1 mm.
Head. Pedicel+first flagellomere not longer than ptilinal suture. Face, antennal furrow without a dark spot; upper two-thrids of carina black. Frons, frontal setae 0, orbital setae 0. Thorax. Scutum predominantly black; postpronotal lobe bicoloured (largely yellow); notopleural callus with a small indistinct yellow spot; notopleural xanthine isolated from notopleural callus; lateral and medial postsutural vitta absent. Scutellum without any dark patterning (except for deep basal dark margin). Anepisternum with a stripe from notopleural callus to (or almost to) katepisternum; extended onto katepisternum. Laterotergal xanthine confined to katatergite. Thoracic setae. Anterior notopleural seta present; anterior supra-alar seta present. Wing. Basal cell bc without an almost complete covering of microtrichia; cell c with an almost complete (>90%) covering of microtrichia; cell bm without microtrichia. Narrow subbasal raised section of cell br with extensive covering of microtrichia. Crossvein R-M beyond middle of cell dm. Costal band complete; shallow, not extending below vein R2+3 before wing apex; expanded before end of vein R2+3 and then narrowly extended to vein M. Anal streak present (colour extending beyond cell bcu). Cell bc hyaline; cell c slightly coloured (not as deep as costal band). Crossbanding; triangular crossband on R-M. Legs. Femora bicoloured; forefemur red-brown outer-preapically; midfemur pale basal two-thirds; hindfemur pale basal three-quaters; remainder red-brown. Abdomen. Predominantly black; shape and patterning, see image; tergite IV without a medial stripe. Tergites I-V all fused.
Male. Tergite III with pecten, and hindtibia preapical "pad"; lacking dense area of microtrichia adjacent end A1+Cu2. Basal costal sections without specialised setae.
Female. Unknown.
