Range Description

This species is distributed from Mexico, where it is found in the State of Veracruz on the Gulf slope and on the Isthmus of Tehuantepec on the Pacific slope, south and east to northern Honduras, Belize, and Guatemala. It also has an isolated population in central Nicaragua. Elevational range extends from near sea level to about 1,200 meters (Kohler 2008).
