Description of Dimastigamoeba vorax

Cells with two equal flagella, may swim or glide, cell surface produces short lobose pseudopodia, when gliding, the pseudopodia form at the front end and the flagellated end of the cell is at the posterior. The pseudopodia ingest prey; undigested residues are expelled at the other end of the cell near the flagella. When swimming the flagella are directed to the front.
