Range Description

This lizard is endemic to the southeastern United States. It has a narrow, elongate distribution along the Atlantic and Gulf coastal plains of the southeastern United States, from southeastern North Carolina to northern Florida and westward through the Florida panhandle to Pearl River County, Mississippi (Palmer 1992). A questionable record exists for Lone Pine Key, Florida (Palmer 1987).
