Male: Carapace pale orange and darkened slightly toward anterior end. Legs and palpi are same colour as the thoracic region of the carapace though palpi may be darker than legs. Chelicerae are solid orange and darker than cephalic region of carapace. Opisthosoma pale or dark grey. Dorsal surface with anterior, lateral stripes and either distinct or indistinct posterior chevrons. Female: Carapace is orange in thoracic region to red in cephalic region. Legs are much the same colour as the thoracic region of the carapace and are slightly darkened at their distal ends. Chelicerae are dark red-brown to black. Opisthosoma grey to grey-black and its dorsum with pale anterior, lateral stripes and posterior chevrons.
