Male: Male, Carapace Shiny jet black,. Abdomen, shiny jet -black scutum covering dorsal portion. Males can be distinguished from other species by the forked tibial apophysis. Female: Carapace, jet shiny black. Abdomen slate matt grey, no scutum. All legs a bark brown. Females can be distinguished from other species by the copulatory tubes being long with a double curve.
