Euphorbia esula (Leafy Spurge) is a species of perennial herb in the family Euphorbiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, Germany, Austria, Serbia And Montenegro, Poland, Albania, Spain, Belgium, Greece, Italy, Estonia, Hungary, Russia, Bulgaria, China, Turkey, Latvia, Afghanistan, Portugal, Moldova, Lithuania, Belarus, Romania, The Netherlands, France, Yugoslavia, and Ukraine. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Euphydryas anicia capella (W. Barnes 1897), Speyeria hesperis, Common Alpine, and Callophrys gryneus siva. Individuals can grow to 0.55 m.
