Felis silvestris (Wild Cat) is a species of mammals in the family cats. It is listed in CITES Appendix II. It is found in the Palearctic, the Indo-Malayan Realm, and the Afrotropics. Felis silvestris is a solitary mammalivore. Individuals are known to live for 336 months and can grow to 6400 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Felis silvestris relies on arboreal (locomotion) to move around.
