Pipilo aberti
Description:
The Spring song of an Abert's Towhee is a beautiful combination of wren and robin, and is pretty much reserved for the mating season. This one was recorded 3/22/98 at Peck's Lake [Arizona], as he hid in the deep mesquite brush.
