Lafoensia pacari (3)
Description:
Description: I think it is Lafoensia pacari. Notice: the leaves tips are mucronate ( tipped with a short point), and the point is bent down. Similar Lafoensia glyptocarpa has acuminate (pointed ) leaf tip. Flowers of these two Lafoensia species are very similar. Anyright, it's my observation.. I might be wrong. Origin: Brazil and Paraguay. Location: Toowong park near Mt. Coot-tha botanic garden Brisbane, Australia. Tree relative to Lagerstroemia (Crape myrtle). See where this picture was taken. [?].
