Description:
This hemichordate is a Ptychoderidae, as evidenced by a short proboscis and the prominent black hepatic sacs in the posterior abdominal region. Enteropneust hemichordates have an anterior proboscis, a neck region, and then the abdominal region, which contains the gill slits and gonads.
