2010.04.30 Austria, Vienna XXII. district (fringe of heath - Heisslnde, 155 m AMSL).Flowering in (march) april; here already growing fruit which will be ripe in may.Common once but has become rather rare due to elm diseases.German name: FeldulmeID: Sciadopitys at flickr.com (I mistook this one for entirely different looking Carpinus betulus), and Fischer & al., Exkursionsflora (2008 3rd)
