Description:
Unfortunately I think this is another garden escape. The flowers look a little like Argemone, but this was a small bush, not prickly, and the leaves were wrong. I'm thinking Meconopsis sp.. Observed near the Donner Cabin site in Mount Diablo State Park, Contra Costa County, CA, USA.
