Hyacinthus orientalis (Dutch Hyacinth) is a herbaceous species of plants in the family Asparagaceae, with a self-supporting growth habit. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Anthophora plumipes (Pallas 1772) and Bombus hypnorum (Linnaeus 1758). It is a photoautotroph.
