Sylvilagus cunicularius (Mexican Cottontail) is a species of mammals in the family Leporidae. It is found in the Nearctic and the Neotropics. It is a solitary grazer. Individuals can grow to 3000 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Mexican Cottontail relies on running to move around.
