Acomys cahirinus (Cairo Spiny Mouse) is a species of rodents in the family Muridae. It is found in the Afrotropics and the Palearctic. It is a nocturnal omnivore. Individuals are known to live for 60 months and can grow to 66.3 g. Reproduction is dioecious.
