Taxodium distichum (Bald Cypress) is a species of tree in the family Cupressaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, United States, Eastern North America, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves, purple flowers, and cone. Individuals can grow to 130 feet.
