Yucca filamentosa (Adam's Needle) is a species of shrub in the family Asparagaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Carpophilus melanopterus, Redbud Bruchid, and Chauliognathus marginatus.
