Allium schoenoprasum (Wild Chives) is a species of perennial herb in the family Amaryllidaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Alaska, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Hylaeus communis, green-veined white, Vanessa cardui, and Silver-bordered Fritillary. Individuals can grow to 0.33 m.
