Andropogon virginicus (Broomsedge Bluestem) is a species of perennial herb in the family True grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to West Indies, The Contiguous United States, Canada, Central America, Eastern North America, North America, Puerto Rico, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 99.8 cm.
