Paspalum notatum (Bahia Grass) is a species of perennial herb in the family True grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pará, Eastern North America, Pampa, Rio De Janeiro, Espirito Santo, Puerto Rico, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, Amapá, Mata AtlâNtica, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Distrito Federal, Paraná, U.S. Virgin Islands, The Contiguous United States, Rio Grande Do Sul, AmazôNia, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Cerrado, GoiáS, and Acre (Brazil). They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 56 cm.
