Danthonia spicata (Poverty Oatgrass) is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Greenland, Eastern North America, North America, Canada, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, United States, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, broad leaves.
