Leptochloa virgata (Judd's Grass) is a species of perennial grass in the family True grasses. It is native to U.S. Virgin Islands, the contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, Pernambuco, Amapá, Pará, Espirito Santo, Caatinga, Minas Gerais, Amazônia, São Paulo, Goiás, Bahia, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná, Ceará, Roraima, Tocantins, Amazônia, Pantanal, Paraíba, Distrito Federal, Cerrado, Mato Grosso, Mata Atlântica, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, and Maranhao. It is a photoautotroph.
