They are native to Iran, Swaziland, Libya, Spain, Egypt, Italy, Namibia, Saudi Arabia, Zambia, Pakistan, Mali, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, Iraq, Indonesia, North America, India, Zimbabwe, Syria, Afghanistan, Botswana, Uganda, Senegal, Ethiopia, Sudan, Mozambique, Angola, Israel, and Jordan. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
