Fimbristylis dichotoma (Forked Fimbry) is a species of annual grass in the family sedges. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Forked Fimbry is native to Hawaii, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, the contiguous United States, Cerrado, Pantanal, Pampa, Mata Atlântica, Amazônia, and Caatinga. It has simple, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.2 m.
