Fimbristylis dichotoma (Forked Fimbry) is a species of annual herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, Hawaii, Pampa, Pantanal, Caatinga, AmazôNia, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.2 m.
