Cyperus eragrostis (Tall Flatsedge) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Maranhao, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio Grande Do Norte, SãO Paulo, Pernambuco, Pampa, Mato Grosso, Ceará, Caatinga, Sergipe, Rio De Janeiro, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, Alagoas, Mato Grosso Do Sul, ParaíBa, GoiáS, Santa Catarina, Pantanal, Mata Atlântica, Bahia, Paraná, Distrito Federal, Piauí, The Contiguous United States, and Minas Gerais. They have simple, broad leaves.
