Cladium mariscoides (Smooth Sawgrass) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, North America, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Tharsalea dorcas.
