Carex vulpinoidea (Brown Fox Sedge) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to North America, Canada, The Contiguous United States, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 3.2 feet.
