Carex conoidea (Open Field Sedge) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.7 m.
