Carex atherodes (Wheat Sedge) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, Western North America, Canada, Alaska, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 5 feet.
