Zygopetalum maculatum is a species of herb in the family orchids. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to Paraná, SãO Paulo, Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, Bahia, Cerrado, and Rio De Janeiro.
