Orchis mascula (Early Purple Orchid) is a species of perennial herb in the family orchids. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Bumble Bees. Individuals can grow to 0.24 m.
