Euphorbia esula (Leafy Spurge) is a species of perennial herb in the family Euphorbiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Serbia And Montenegro, Spain, Romania, Yugoslavia, North America, Russia, Greece, Estonia, Lithuania, Moldova, Albania, China, Belgium, Austria, Hungary, Belarus, France, Latvia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Afghanistan, and Ukraine. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Common Alpine, Pearl Crescent, apoid wasp, and Vanessa cardui. Individuals can grow to 0.55 m.
