Crocidura suaveolens (Lesser Shrew) is a species of mammals in the family shrews. They are native to China, Spain, Georgia, Bulgaria, Austria, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Turkey, Syria, Slovakia, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, France, Iraq, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Palestine, Czech Republic, Yugoslavia, Algeria, Italy, Liechtenstein, Afghanistan, Slovenia, Albania, Portugal, Germany, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Montenegro, Hungary, Israel, Cyprus, Armenia, Macedonia, Belarus, Switzerland, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Azerbaijan, Serbia, Romania, Moldova, Lebanon, Turkmenistan, Egypt, Croatia, Greece, and Morocco. They are solitary omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 32.4 months. Reproduction is viviparous.
