My first encounter with this species, on the Virginia Herpetological Society's annual HerpBlitz, Mattaponi Wildlife Management Area, Caroline County, Virginia (USA).
The lowland ones from Sierra Llorona are brown, unlike their upland cousins that are black with yellow stripes and a red belly. All have yellow noses and fingertips!
