Noturus flavus (Stonecat) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family North American catfishes. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Nearctic. They are nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 31.0 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They have parental care (female provides care and paternal care). They rely on swimming to move around.
