Neomphaloidea is a superfamily of Gastropoda. There are 50 species of Neomphaloidea, in 25 genera and 3 families. This superfamily has been around since the valanginian age. It includes groups like Neomphalidae, Melanodrymiidae, and Peltospiridae. Dead Neomphaloidea form shallow marine sediments. They have sexual reproduction.
