Description: Last summer, we released pallid sturgeon implanted with sonic radio transmitters into the Missouri River. This was done as part of a catchability research project. The radio transmitters allowed biologists to locate the fish and attempt to recatch them, therefore helping evaluate the effectiveness of their sampling gear.
