They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, The Contiguous United States, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves and red flowers. Flowers are visited by Chrysomya pinguis, Chaetocnema, Lucilia, and Cellophane bees. Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
