Prunus cerasifera is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Flowers are visited by Pieris rapae, Criorhina asilica, Xanthogramma festiva, and Hoplocampa chrysorrhoea. Individuals can grow to 5.3 m.
