Peromyscus gossypinus (Cotton Deermouse) is a species of rodents in the family cricetids . It is found in the Neotropics and the Nearctic. It is a solitary, nocturnal herbivore. Individuals are known to live for 15.5 months and can grow to 29.4 g. Reproduction is dioecious.
